The caterpillar drawing machine is consisted of DC drawing motor, slowdown wheel box, tension unit, die seat, drawing clamp and pre-drawing unit, lubrication unit, bracket, and safety cover.

The caterpillar drawing machine is a good choice to produce metal tube and bar, which has the advantage of continuous production, high speed and steady. The drawing speed can be 120~300m/min. The machine also has the features of simple structure, easily operated and highly automated.

The tube head is introduced into the die seat, through the clamp, drawing with the help of the chain; after the tube is introduced into the die, the chain is tightened, the clamp is loosened; depending on the friction between die block and the tubes, the continuous drawing is achieved.
